Gold, Silver and Bronze awards will be made to trainees by BSGE for
Best Oral, Best Poster and Best Video presentations
KARL STORZ is proud to once again offer “The Golden Telescope” Award to the winner of the “Best Video” presentation; in additionthey will receive free entry to a course of their choosing, within Europe, at any KARL STORZ supported centre. Accommodation and travel will also be covered as part of the award. The winner of the “Best Oral” presentation will receive free entry to a course of their choosing at any KARL STORZ supported courses within the IRCAD centre in Strasbourg. Accommodation and travel will also be covered as part of the award.
Please note if your abstract cannot be accepted for an oral or video presentation, it will automatically be considered for a poster presentation. BSGE Scientific Committee reserves the right to decide on the final method of presentation. Authors must declare conflict of interest. The details submitted within the abstract submission system for the primary author will automatically appear in the programme and abstract book produced. If an abstract is accepted for presentation, at least one author must pay the registration fee to attend the ASM for both days. The presenting author MUST register for the meeting at least two weeks before the meeting otherwise the abstract will not be published. Please note that if the author does not register, the abstract will be withdrawn.
Please note those who have submitted a video abstract must email BSGE Secretariat email@example.com to confirm they have submitted their abstract for video presentation. BSGE Secretariat will send them a link with instructions to upload their videos on BSGE Video Library. This needs to be edited high quality video clips of maximum 8 minutes duration allowing at least 2 minutes afterwards for questions and discussion. Only videos uploaded to our servers will be considered. Abstracts must have been submitted by 5 pm on 3rd March 2017 but videos can be uploaded until 31 March 2017.
